Position: Culinary Expediter

Overview: The Culinary Expediter is essential in guaranteeing that all food items leaving the kitchen meet the highest standards of presentation and quality prior to being served to patrons. Below are the details of the role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and organize all outgoing food items from the kitchen
  • Ensure exceptional standards of food presentation and quality

Specific Duties:

  • Receive and process all incoming food orders
  • Manage ticket timings to ensure they align with service standards
  • Facilitate communication between kitchen and service staff
  • Execute all plate presentations according to established specifications
  • Conduct a final quality assessment on food items for presentation, temperature, garnishing, and timing
  • Coordinate food delivery with service runners
  • Establish and maintain an orderly expeditor station throughout the shift

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to remain mobile throughout the entire shift
  • Basic skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and verbal communication are required
  • Ability to uphold cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment
  • Capability to respond effectively in emergency situations
  • Physical demands include prolonged standing, quick mobility, clear communication, good balance, bending, kneeling, and lifting items up to 25 pounds
