We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Veterinary Kennel Technician/Assistant at JANET M LEE DVM PA. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our veterinarians and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Animal Care: Provide compassionate care to patients, including administering medication, preparing and maintaining exam rooms and treatment areas, and performing physical assessments.
- Client Service: Deliver excellent customer service to clients, including explaining necessary follow-up and homecare instructions, preparing estimates for procedures, and discussing financial commitments.
- Medical Records: Maintain accurate and legible medical records in accordance with hospital policy.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure a clean and orderly facility, including cleaning and organizing as part of normal job duties.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain positive, cooperative relationships with other employees and veterinarians.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1 year of experience in a veterinary setting preferred.
- Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and customer service skills, and basic computer skills.
- Competitive Salary: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour.
- Benefits Package: 401(k), employee discount, health insurance, and paid time off.
- Work Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability.
