Visual Communications Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Communications Manager to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our culture forward by fostering collaboration across business areas, implementing new processes, and promoting continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Build strong relationships with business areas to drive collaboration and foster a culture of innovation.
- Act as a liaison between senior management and direct report leadership to execute new processes and procedures.
- Manage the execution of new processes and procedures to ensure seamless implementation.
- Establish mechanisms for tracking progress towards our vision and goals, regularly reviewing performance, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Address budget issues at the controllable level and work closely with project managers to address concerns about organizational workflow.
- Keep our vision alive by sharing success stories, recognizing contributions, and reinforcing the importance of our vision.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging experimentation, risk-taking, and learning from both successes and failures.
- Lead talent development discussions for leaders and high-potential employees, and be involved in long-term succession planning and preparations for leadership transitions.

Requirements- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in a managerial role, with a proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing creative projects.
- Demonstrated experience in leading creative teams is preferred.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities with experience in motivating and guiding teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans, and to manage creative resources effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels and across business areas.
- Proficient in preparing and delivering presentations, and in facilitating productive meetings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in resolving conflicts and managing complex issues within a team or project environment.
- Experience in managing projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, and delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools as required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members, clients, and other stakeholders across business areas.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to adjust strategies and approaches as necessary to achieve objectives.

Pay RateThe annual base salary range for this position is $96,700 - $185,300, depending on the candidate's final work location.
