Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate selection of products ordered by our stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build pallets of product safely and efficiently, minimizing product damage in transportation and maximizing trailer space.
- Safely operate equipment necessary to perform job duties, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and Vocollect.
- Perform order audits to determine accuracy and quality.
- Maintain knowledge of all quality standards/specifications and requirements for all products.
- Inform operations management of daily quality issues using reports and other necessary communication.
- Maintain the integrity of the cold chain on loads that have temperature requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with operating a pallet jack, forklift, and Vocollect.
