Job Summary:

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technician, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with approved techniques and NRC/ACR standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including venipuncture and administration of radioisotopes, in accordance with established protocols.
* Maintain accurate records of quality control tests and report any recordkeeping failures or omissions to management or radiation safety officer.
* Ensure strict adherence to safety precautions when handling radiopharmaceuticals and safeguard against unnecessary exposure to radiation.
* Demonstrate effective use of RIS, PACS, and hospital-based computer programs, adhering to all policies and practices regarding confidentiality of electronic communications.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine preferred.
* Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiology or nuclear medicine technology.
* Current or registry-eligible within 1 year of employment: Registered by the ARRT(NM) and/or certified by the NMTCB.
* Current or registry-eligible within 1 year of employment: N.J.D.E.P license in nuclear medicine technology.
