Job Summary

As a House Supervisor RN PRN at Sovah Health - Martinsville, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital's daily activities. This position requires a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse who can effectively supervise and direct nursing staff, while also contributing to the development of hospital and department goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient hospital operations
  • Develop and implement standards of practice and performance improvement methods to achieve hospital and department goals
  • Provide support and resources to hospital managers and personnel on assigned shifts
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing or Compact State
  • BSN preferred
  • Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
