Job Overview

FMR is seeking an experienced Pipefitter Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality pipefitting services in maritime and industrial settings.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute pipe system layouts, installations, and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulatory specifications and industry standards.
  • Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment, using welding, brazing, cementing, and threading joints.
  • Cut and bore holes in structures, such as bulkheads and decks, prior to pipe installation, using hand and power tools.
  • Cut and thread pipes to specifications, ensuring accurate measurements and fitting.
  • Inspect and examine installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in pipefitting, preferably in a maritime or industrial setting.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • The ability to read pipe spool schematics, work at heights, and in confined spaces.
  • Familiarity with Imperial (English) and metric systems, blueprints, tape measurers, pressure gauges, levels, and squares.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to perform calculations accurately.
  • Torch and grinding skills, as well as U.S. citizenship.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
