Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for direct patient care, utilizing the nursing process in line with established policies and procedures. The role involves adhering to the standards set by the state board of nursing and other regulatory bodies. Continuous education is essential to maintain clinical competencies, and the nurse will delegate patient care tasks based on the qualifications and experience of the team.
Qualifications:
1. Valid Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina or a compact state.
2. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
3. AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification to be obtained within one year of employment and maintained thereafter.
