About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our National IT Office of the Chief Information Security Officer's (OCISO) Engagement & Enablement team. This role will involve raising IS awareness through multiple avenues, including IS Training & Enablement and Communications support.

The successful candidate will have a passion for security, excellent communication skills, and strong analytical capabilities. They will be responsible for writing and editing IS material, including awareness articles, presentations, and memos, to provide a link between our IS experts and stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities will include support of IS training programs, with a focus on data analytics and process improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize strong oral and written communication skills to write, review, and edit IS communications.
  • Work with stakeholders and other resources to identify customer needs and recommend communication or training solutions.
  • Translate technical IS information and details into polished executive-level presentations.
  • Support customer product information using tools such as SharePoint Online.
  • Provide support of training and enablement programs, including registration and scheduling.
  • Review data analytics to ensure communications are meeting customer needs and propose ideas for improving overall awareness and understanding.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to write and edit communications and translate detailed information into a visually appealing deliverable.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 3-5+ years of relevant work experience within Communications or Business support areas.
  • High-level understanding of Information Security practices is beneficial.

Eligibility:

  • Eligibility for this specific position requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • The selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary and Benefits:

  • The hiring range for the Analyst-Business-Experienced role is $62,900 – $78,600 annually.
  • Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual's knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
