Key Responsibilities

  2. extbf{Setup and Preparation}: Manually set up and prepare the 12-ton Di-Acro press brake for production runs, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  3. extbf{Blueprint Interpretation}: Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the correct setup and bending sequences, guaranteeing precision and accuracy.
  4. extbf{Tooling and Dies}: Select and install the appropriate tooling and dies for each job, ensuring seamless production and minimal downtime.
  5. extbf{Machine Programming}: Program machine settings, including bend angles, back gauge positions, and tonnage requirements, to ensure precise metal forming.
  6. extbf{Bending and Forming}: Safely operate the press brake to bend, shape, and form sheet metal parts to exact specifications, delivering high-quality results.
  7. extbf{Quality Control}: Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and accuracy.
  8. extbf{Safety Protocols}: Adhere to strict safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents.


Desired Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:



  2. extbf{High School Diploma or Equivalent}: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. extbf{Setup Operator Experience}: Proven experience as a Setup Operator in sheet metal manufacturing, with a strong understanding of fabrication principles and processes.
  4. extbf{Blueprint Reading}: Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation, with the ability to accurately understand technical drawings and specifications.
  5. extbf{Precision Measuring}: Ability to accurately measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools, ensuring high-quality results.
  6. extbf{Mechanical Aptitude}: Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  7. extbf{Safety Knowledge}: Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to machine operation, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  8. extbf{Attention to Detail}: Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation, with a focus on delivering precise and accurate results.
  9. extbf{Teamwork}: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently, with strong communication and collaboration skills.


Physical Requirements

This role requires:
