About the RoleThis is a PRN opportunity, allowing you to choose your schedule and work flexible hours. Our center performs approximately 160 cases per month, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment that will challenge and reward you as a nurse.
Responsibilities- Prepare patient care areas, ensuring necessary equipment and supplies are provided.
- Demonstrate proper airway management techniques and monitor patients according to policy.
- Exhibit expertise in insertion, maintenance, and removal of IV catheters and saline locks.
- Perform and document thorough head-to-toe evaluations using approved scoring systems.
- Check dressings and/or operative sites, reporting abnormalities to the surgeon.
- Provide a safe and comforting environment for patients and families.
- Ensure patients meet discharge criteria.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing Required.
- 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU, or Surgery.
- Active RN license as required by state of employment.
- BCLS Certification upon employment.
- ACLS required within 30-days of hire.
- PALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
