Gastroenterology Locums Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist to provide locums coverage at a Level 3 Trauma Center in Northeastern New York. This is an ongoing opportunity, with a requirement of one week per month.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience in performing upper and lower GI scopes, as well as other procedures. The position involves inpatient coverage, with an average of 40 procedures per week. Monday-Sunday coverage is preferred, but flexibility to split weeks is available. Weekday hours are from 7:30am-5pm, with 24-hour weekend call.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide inpatient coverage, including performing upper and lower GI scopes
  2. Participate in call coverage for the hospital
  3. Collaborate with NP support for efficient care delivery
  4. Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and communication
Compensation and Benefits

$10,000 - $15,000 per week, depending on experience and qualifications.
