RUKCO is seeking a highly skilled Safety Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for facilitating safety management and loss control programs for a large-scale construction project in the Columbus, OH area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with owner/construction manager safety teams to support construction operations
  • Develop and implement organizational guidelines for construction contractor management and operational manufacturing activities
  • Lead teams of contractors and safety professionals to ensure effective safety protocols
  • Conduct site safety observations, identify areas for improvement, and develop comprehensive reports
  • Facilitate effective coordination and communication through active participation in meetings/group collaboration
  • Develop and deliver safety-related training and presentations for site personnel
  • Update safety logs, write safety reports, and submit them to appropriate staff
  • Participate in incident investigations and analyze incident reports
  • Implement corrective action procedures and track progress on corrective actions
  • Ensure strong communication between RUKCO team, site personnel, and client project management
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in safety or loss control
  • Owner/CM/GC representation experience working within the construction sector
  • Focused experience in large-scale construction projects
  • Value placed on previous experience and industry certifications (i.e. CHST, CSP)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Outstanding written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a group and take initiative
  • Goal-driven and motivated to learn and grow in a career
