Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machinery, manual mills, lathes, and various machining tools to produce metal components.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ascertain machining needs.
- Select suitable cutting tools and measuring devices for each task.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience as a Manual or CNC Machinist.
- In-depth knowledge of operating manual mills, lathes, and other equipment.
- Preferred: Proficiency in CNC programming techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and capability to work with accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in machining.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform machining tasks over extended periods.
