Machinist II

The Machinist II is a key member of our manufacturing team, responsible for setting up and operating machines to produce high-precision components for the aerospace industry. This role requires a strong understanding of machining principles and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate machines such as mills, lathes, jig bores, grinders, and shapers to produce precision components.
- Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications and make adjustments as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve cost, quality, and lead-time.
- Communicate effectively with leadership and team members to ensure smooth production processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Email software.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
This position is in a standard manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise levels. Safety glasses and safety shoes are required, and hearing protection is recommended.
