Machinist II

The Machinist II is a key member of our manufacturing team, responsible for setting up and operating machines to produce high-precision components for the aerospace industry. This role requires a strong understanding of machining principles and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

• Set up and operate machines such as mills, lathes, jig bores, grinders, and shapers to produce precision components.
• Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications and make adjustments as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve cost, quality, and lead-time.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and team members to ensure smooth production processes.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Email software.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

This position is in a standard manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise levels. Safety glasses and safety shoes are required, and hearing protection is recommended.
