About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Division Medical Director to lead our Anesthesiology department. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations, patient care initiatives, and strategic relationships within the division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior-level administrative duties, serving as a regional service line leader
  • Oversee clinical operations, patient care initiatives, and maintenance of strategic relationships with division and facility senior leadership, physicians, and ancillary department leads
  • Develop and implement leadership development programs
  • Stay up-to-date with hospital-based physician services, multidisciplinary team development, and governmental regulations and compliance requirements related to clinical practice
  • Display consistent professional behavior that enhances the public image of the organization
  • Experience with quality reporting systems and computer systems/applications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to travel up to 50% as needed
  • MD/DO required, MBA a plus, Anesthesiology board certification
  • Minimum of 5 years' healthcare experience, preferably in Hospital-Based physician services/healthcare consulting/financial oversight for clinical operations
