About the Role

Our assisted living community in Cypresswood is seeking two part-time/hourly certified med techs to join our team. As a med tech, you will be responsible for administering medication, reporting changes, and recording medication dosages.

The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, in-depth knowledge of patient care procedures, and excellent communication skills. Providing top-notch patient care is crucial in this role, which is why we value candidates with excellent interpersonal skills.

Work Schedule/Shift

We offer flexible scheduling with PM Shift (2p-10p) and NOC Shift (10p-6a).

Compensation

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $13.00/hour.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver routine daily medications to residents.
  • Coordinate with caregivers to assist with resident care and medications.
  • Follow instructions on managing medications.
  • Record medication dosages and times.
  • Observe residents and document changes in their condition.
  • Gather samples for analysis.
  • Ensure equipment is inspected and cleaned regularly.
  • Uphold health and safety standards.
  • Respond to resident emergency call signals.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Must be a certified medication aide.
  • Able to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.
  • High school diploma or relevant qualification.
  • Knowledge of ACCUFlo E-Mar Systems or ALIS is a plus.
