Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team at South Carolina Sports Medicine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall success of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide High-Quality Patient Care

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a range of physical therapy needs. This will involve conducting thorough assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Communicate Effectively with Colleagues and Patients

You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care. Additionally, you will maintain open and empathetic relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support to promote informed decision-making and empowerment.

Maintain Accurate and Confidential Patient Records

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries. You will also ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.

Contribute to a Positive and Supportive Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at South Carolina Sports Medicine, you will be an integral part of our team. Requirements
  1. Education and Licensure

You must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program and be licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of South Carolina.

Experience and Skills

You will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, with a strong background in evidence-based practice and a commitment to ongoing professional development. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Certifications and Training

You will be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and have completed any relevant training programs, such as ACLS or PALS.
