Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide High-Quality Patient Care: Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal health and wellness.
  2. Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and management to ensure seamless patient care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  3. Maintain Accurate Records: Record patient evaluations, treatment notes, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely and accurate manner, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  4. Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train Physical Therapy Assistants/Aides in direct patient care and related activities, ensuring they are equipped to provide high-quality care.
  5. Comply with Regulations: Ensure compliance with the South Carolina State Physical Therapy Act and all relevant laws and regulations.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Urgent/Emergent Situations: Recognize and respond appropriately to urgent/emergent situations, adhering to established protocols.
  2. Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, exam rooms, and supplies, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  3. Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional appearance and personal conduct at all times, reflecting positively on South Carolina Sports Medicine.
  4. Policy Adherence: Follow all South Carolina Sports Medicine policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and quality in patient care.
  5. Effective Communication: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, staff, and management, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  6. Attendance and Availability: Attend meetings as requested and maintain regular clinic hours as approved by the Rehab Director.
  7. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the success and growth of South Carolina Sports Medicine.
