Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant at Cheshire Public Schools. As a key member of our Food & Nutrition Program, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school cafeteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food to students and staff.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager, Operations Manager, and Director of Food & Nutrition Services to achieve program goals.
  • Support the development and implementation of menus and meal programs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School education or equivalent.
  • Qualified Food Operator Sanitation Certification preferred.
  • Food Service experience preferred.

Working Conditions:
