About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to join our Last Mile Technical team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing large, cutting-edge programs with multi-year projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage cross-cutting programs across the Last Mile org and our partners, delivering large solutions that span multiple businesses, technology, and operational teams.
  • Develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, and roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
