Position Overview:


The role involves comprehensive analysis and assessment of financial data, along with the preparation of financial statements and reports that require a deep understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and terminology.

This position entails applying relevant regulations, policies, and procedures while collaborating with various affiliates of Vanderbilt Health.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the monthly accounting close process and the generation of financial statements for multiple affiliate organizations, consolidating financial outcomes.
Design and prepare complex financial reports and schedules.
Facilitate and reconcile intercompany accounting among affiliates.
Coordinate the completion of affiliate tax returns in collaboration with external tax preparers.
Conduct intricate reconciliations of unique data requiring a thorough understanding of various transaction sources.
Prepare complex journal entries and closing entries, as well as manage general ledger accounts.
The responsibilities outlined are a general overview of the position, and additional tasks may be assigned.
