Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct pre-construction strategies, including Plan Constructability Review, Site Logistics, and Schedule Coordination.
  • Exhibit exceptional management skills to oversee commitments, ensuring requests are fulfilled and assessments are provided.
  • Establish and uphold a safe working environment on-site.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement project schedules.
  • Assist in ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Oversee and coordinate all construction activities, including those of subcontractors.
  • Guarantee that materials and workmanship align with company quality standards and design specifications.
  • Gather necessary information from engineers, designers, inspectors, and relevant authorities.
  • Inform the project manager of any potential issues affecting budget, schedule, quality, or safety.
  • Maintain project strategies, schedules, and daily reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a Superintendent capacity.
  • Experience in Multi-Family Unit Construction is essential.
  • Background in Vertical Concrete Apprenticeship or related trades is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the construction sector, including specifications, plans, materials, methods, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead safety initiatives on-site.
  • Proven track record in managing large subcontractor teams as a Superintendent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience in evaluating and managing trade performance on-site.
  • Thorough knowledge of required and special inspections.
  • Capability to resolve field-level issues and escalate as necessary.
  • Experience in developing and monitoring project schedules, focusing on critical paths.
  • Adept at scheduling, monitoring, and forecasting resources for maximum efficiency.
