We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at a growing Buffalo area company with a long history. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing prototype products that could be manufactured at our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop reliable, cost-effective mechanical designs for prototype products.
• Collaborate closely with software and electrical engineers, technicians, and production teams to bring innovative products from concept to reality.
• Develop and manage project timelines to meet critical deadlines, including show dates and open houses.
• Ensure adherence to ETL and UL standards during the design process.
• Create and maintain costed Bills of Materials (BOM) for each project.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree (BS) or Associate Degree (ASS) in a related field, with 3-5 years of experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM, and Microsoft Office is essential.
