Job Overview

RadNet is a leading provider of radiology services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures as needed.
  • Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
  • Monitor patient well-being during exams, recognizing patient discomfort or medical problems and taking appropriate action.
  • Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and any legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Demonstrate ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Requirements
  • Applicants must have completed their Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma.
  • Passed SPI exam preferred.
  • Current ARDMS certifications or ARDMS Registry Eligible preferred.
  • BLS/CPR certification required.
