Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Temple Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve therapeutic goals.

Responsibilities
  • Perform prescribed diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to achieve therapeutic goals in the care of patients with cardiopulmonary dysfunctions.
  • Consult with physicians and other healthcare team members to determine treatment procedures and time schedules.
  • Participate in in-service education, infection control, and performance improvement programs to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of education requirements for qualification as a Respiratory Therapist as defined by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Graduate from a CoARC accredited Respiratory Therapy program (preferred).
  • 1 year experience in respiratory care in a clinical setting, including routine and critical care (preferred).
  • RCP-LIC - PA Respiratory Care License (required).
  • CRT - Cert Respiratory Therapist (required).
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (required).
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred).
