Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist Lead to join our team at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of respiratory care shift operations, including assessing patient conditions, evaluating data, and developing and delivering respiratory care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient conditions and evaluate data to determine the appropriateness of prescribed respiratory care
  • Develop and deliver respiratory care plans in accordance with department policies and procedures
  • Oversee all aspects of respiratory care shift operations, including workload calculation and staff assignment
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to staff therapists and other disciplines
  • Manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory care equipment

Requirements:

  • Post-high school diploma program in respiratory therapy
  • Relevant experience in pediatric critical care
  • BLS certification
  • PA Respiratory Therapist License
  • NBRC Respiratory Therapist Registered
  • PALS and NRP certifications
