We are seeking a highly skilled FSQA Supervisor 1st Shift to join our team at OSI Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise employees and activities to ensure compliance with company, customer, and government requirements.
  • Plan and allocate resources to achieve performance targets.
  • Document and review production activities, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to prioritize and ensure equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by implementing safe work instructions and procedures.
  • Comply with quality and food safety programs, including GMPs, sanitation audits, and product quality checks.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for change.

Requirements

  • At least two years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of good manufacturing practices, hazard analysis, and critical control points.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and use organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Four-year college degree in business management, production operations management, or a related field.

Working Conditions

The work environment is a manufacturing setting with varying temperatures and the need to wear personal protective equipment. The employee will be required to sit, stand, bend, walk, and use hands or fingers to perform tasks.
