Job Title: Parts Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Sales Specialist to join our team at Mark Wahlberg Chevrolet of Avon. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of parts to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and customers, providing clear and concise information regarding parts status and availability.
  • Review and verify body shop estimates to ensure correct parts ordering and pricing.
  • Provide high-level service to both internal and external customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Pull and fill orders from stock, maintaining accurate inventory levels and conducting weekly bin checks.
  • Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials requiring immediate attention.
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from external sources and submit emergency orders as necessary.
  • Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
  • Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and prior auto parts sales experience (preferred).
  • Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts, interest, commissions, and proportions.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • CDK and G.M. parts experience (preferred).
