About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Danbury Senior Living. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing appetizers, meals, desserts, snacks, and special events foods under the direction of the Executive Chef.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for our residents, including appetizers, meals, desserts, and snacks.
  • Assist in serving meals as necessary and perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef and other culinary staff to ensure the highest quality of food and service.

Requirements:

  • One-year cook or dietary experience.
  • Senior living, assisted living, or nursing facility experience is helpful but not required.
  • A great outlook, cheerful disposition, patience, and love of seniors are a must.
