Job Summary and Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated PRN MRI Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI technology. Responsibilities include:
  • Demonstrating expertise in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, including patient positioning and equipment operation.
  • Managing the Radiology Information System (RIS) for scheduling and tracking exams.
  • Ensuring quality control and proper use of MRI-related equipment.
  • Exhibiting enthusiasm and professionalism in all work assignments.
  • Assessing situations and making informed decisions to ensure patient care.
  • Providing care for patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited Radiology program with prior experience in an outpatient MRI setting preferred. Candidates must obtain one of the following certifications within six months of hire:
  • ARRT (MR) certification
  • ARMRIT certification
Current CPR certification is required or must be obtained during orientation.

Preferred Licenses and Certifications:
Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) Certification from the Texas Department of Health.
