About the Role

Premise Health is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Physician to join our team in Miami, FL. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct medical care to client company employees, ensuring their health and well-being in the workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide episodic, preventive, and acute healthcare to patients, including occupational health services such as post-offer physicals and medical monitoring.
  • Conduct histories and physical examinations, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of medical care and monitor progress of patients, participating in the development of annual health center goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and may formulate and administer health programs as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school.
  • At least three years of post-residency clinical experience, with a focus on occupational healthcare.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state where the site is located.
  • Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine, or Board Eligible with certification within twelve months of hire.
  • Current state and federal DEA certification, as well as Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
