The CRNA will operate under the guidance of the Program Manager and site medical director, delivering anesthesia services in both medical and trauma facilities.

Key responsibilities include administering anesthetics, monitoring vital signs, and assisting in patient stabilization and evacuation when necessary.

Location:
Baghdad, Iraq

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preanesthetic assessments and evaluations
  • Administer postanesthesia medications and treatments
  • Monitor patients' responses following surgery and take corrective actions as required
  • Assess anesthesia effects and patient reactions
  • Insert and manage airway or pulmonary support
  • Monitor vital signs and patient responses during procedures
  • Maintain equipment and supplies necessary for anesthesia administration
  • Educate staff on anesthetic techniques and emergency protocols
  • Participate in Mass Casualty Exercises/Events
  • Document patient care and follow-up requirements

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a nursing training program
  • Graduation from a Nurse Anesthetist program
  • At least 3 years of experience as a licensed Nurse Anesthetist
  • Current U.S. Nursing license and NBCRNA certification
  • ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory
  • Recent clinical experience within the last year

Additional Requirements:

  • U.S. Driver's License and Passport
  • Favorable security background check and drug screening
  • Proficiency in English and familiarity with medical software
  • Adherence to safety policies and guidelines

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be medically fit and capable of lifting up to 70 lbs
  • Primarily work in an office environment with required travel
