Toxicology Specialist

Lighthouse Lab Services is seeking a highly skilled Toxicology Technologist to join their team in St. Joseph, MO. As a key member of the laboratory team, you will be responsible for providing technical and scientific guidance and support to the Laboratory Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with CLIA regulations and accreditation requirements.
• Perform routine testing, quality control, calibration, maintenance, and proficiency testing in accordance with current laboratory procedures.
• Communicate company goals, policies, and deadlines to Executives and stakeholders.
• Provide input and ensure compliance to laboratory workflow and process improvements.
• Supervise high complexity test performance and ensure that all duties are properly performed according to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

• Minimum of B.S. in Biology, Clinical Lab Science, or related field.
• Qualify as testing personnel under CLIA guidelines and have at least 4 years experience in high complexity testing in a toxicology laboratory conducting LC/MS testing.
• MT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with Agilent 6420 LCMS and EIA Indiko Plus instrument experience a plus.
• Previous experience with toxicology sample prep required.
