Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Manager, you will play a critical role in leading and directing our pharmacy staff, ensuring the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy. Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and directing pharmacy staff to ensure excellent patient care and customer service
  • Managing and overseeing all aspects of pharmacy operations, including patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management
  • Developing and implementing patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy
  • Leading with heart, displaying empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
  • Motivating, inspiring, and developing pharmacy support staff to maximize their strengths and address development opportunities
  • Identifying critical business opportunities and implementing meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in your pharmacy
Requirements
  • Active pharmacy license in the state in which you are employed
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
  • Immunization certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
  • Listed on the pharmacy state license as the 'pharmacist in charge'
  • Submission of required information/documents to your state PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in states with active PMP for pharmacist use)
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
