Position Overview:
Join our dedicated team at BridgePoint Healthcare as a Certified Respiratory Care Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional cardiopulmonary care services.
Job Details:
- Location: Washington, DC
- Employment Type: Part-Time
- Education Requirement: Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Salary: $51.58 per hour
- Shift: Evening Shift (7 PM - 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities:
The Certified Respiratory Care Specialist will:
- Administer respiratory care services as per physician directives and departmental protocols.
- Collaborate with the Cardiopulmonary Services Medical Director and Cardiopulmonary Director to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions for patients requiring respiratory support.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with an Associate Degree.
- Licensure: Current credentials as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in accordance with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). Must hold a valid Respiratory License from the District of Columbia.
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications are required. RRT certification is preferred or must be obtained within one year of employment.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in respiratory care as a licensed practitioner is preferred.
Additional Information:
This position requires weekend work and is designated as a safety-sensitive role.
