Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Program Directors to develop and implement orthodontic treatment plans
- Provide direct supervision to residents and ensure they meet the highest standards of patient care
- Develop and deliver educational programs for residents, including lectures, seminars, and clinical demonstrations
- Participate in the evaluation of residents and visiting students with orthodontic focus
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of patient care
- Supervise and educate staff on orthodontic procedures and techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan and provide treatment
- Participate in the Craniofacial Clinic at YNHH and evaluate patients requiring orthodontic treatment
- Attend and participate in the Orthognathic Surgery Conference
- Work with support and administrative personnel to improve processes and patient flow within the dental clinics
- D.M.D./D.D.S. or equivalent professional degree
- Certificate in Orthodontics required; Master's in Orthodontics preferred
- One year of post-residency experience required; three years of continuous Orthodontics experience in an academic or private practice setting preferred
- CT Dental License and CT Controlled Substance License preferred
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Demonstrated scholarship in teaching and curriculum development
- Proven track record in developing and enhancing strategic growth initiatives
- Clinical and educational innovation
