Job Summary:

Clinical Management Consultants is seeking an experienced Inpatient Respiratory Therapist to join our team at a 20+ bed acute care hospital in Southwestern Colorado. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory treatments and monitor patients' respiratory status and response to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families about respiratory conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Adhere to regulatory and accreditation standards related to respiratory care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an approved school for Respiratory Care
  • RRT Certification
  • 2 or more years of acute respiratory care medicine experience (general floor care, emergent medical and trauma stabilization/treatment, newborn stabilization, cardiopulmonary diagnostics, and pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation preferred)
