Position Summary:
The Senior Construction Inspector/Field Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing and executing tasks across various engineering disciplines in the field to support construction projects. This position involves collaboration and coordination with home office engineering, field construction supervision, and subcontractors. Additionally, the role may encompass support for Field Procurement, System Turnover, and Commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Exhibit independence and proficiency in work, seeking validation only when necessary.
2. Coordinate with other execution disciplines and external suppliers in accordance with company policies and guidance from the Construction Field Engineering Manager.
3. Supervise the activities of construction technicians and junior field engineers.
4. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local codes, industry standards, and contractual obligations during construction operations.
5. Compile and analyze documents, data, and field quantities to facilitate the successful completion of construction activities.
6. Thoroughly review project specifications, procedures, and relevant contract portions.
7. Promote and adhere to safe work practices.
8. Represent the construction team in project meetings.
9. Ensure timely and budget-compliant completion of assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
- Experience in bridge and roadway reconstruction.
- Technical expertise in construction aspects of specific engineering disciplines.
- Familiarity with the construction process and applicable codes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
- NICET Level II or III certification.
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician certification.
- OSHA 16-hour training.

Additional Information:
This role involves inspection responsibilities for heavy highway, bridge construction, and roadway repairs.
