About the Position

This is a permanent position located in Rhode Island, offering a unique blend of clinical practice and leadership opportunities. As a urologist in the U.S. Army, you will have access to the latest technology and advanced procedures, allowing you to rapidly build your career in a ready-made practice with no overhead costs or malpractice insurance premiums.

In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care, develop your skills as a leader, and contribute to the success of the U.S. Army's health care team. You will also have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, from routine clinic visits to complex surgical procedures.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Provide diagnostic and surgical care to patients in a clinical setting
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff members

To be eligible for this position, you must have a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy, as well as current licensure to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico. Additionally, you must be eligible for board certification, complete at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education internship, and complete a training program in urology.
