Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Production and Preparation: Bake breads, pies, cakes, cookies, and other pastries according to recipes and production specifications. Assist in production planning to meet daily requirements.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure proper food preparation by utilizing approved recipes, following prescribed production standards, and using proper equipment. Maintain proper presentation, food quality, portion control, and serving temperatures.
  • Sanitation and Maintenance: Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils within the work area. Clean equipment and workstations thoroughly before leaving the area for other assignments.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly and customer-service-oriented manner. Relay relevant concerns from customers directly to supervisors.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Consistently exhibit the ability to keep up with peak production and service calmly, accurately, and efficiently. Check to ensure that all food is presented, served, and displayed per standards.
  • Compliance and Safety: Follow principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment, ensuring corporate and OSHA safety standards are followed.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Complete shift work, as assigned, in a timely and thorough manner in accordance with department standards. Perform other duties as assigned.
