Emergency Care Scribe

Position Overview:
The Scribe in the Emergency Department plays a crucial role in supporting the Emergency Physician by ensuring accurate documentation in the Medical Chart for each patient receiving care in the Emergency Care Center. Scribes will be present during patient examinations and will meticulously transcribe the History & Physicals, Problem Lists, Review of Systems, Procedures, Test Results, and Orders as articulated by the Physician. The primary responsibility of the Scribe is to improve the clarity and comprehensiveness of medical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Completion of 2 years of College/University education with Pre-Med prerequisites; 0-1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Proficient word processing abilities, along with basic data entry and email communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Exemplary courteous behavior towards patients and staff.
Work Schedule:
Per Diem as required.
