We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Lab team at Saint Michael's Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations, addressing their psychosocial, physical, and general needs in the surgical environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, communicating continuously with physicians about patient condition
- Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory management
- Assess procedure room or equipment functionality and readiness
- Obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure the Cardiovascular Laboratory team's needs are met
- Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required
- Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certificate upon hire and maintenance required
- One year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required
