About the Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Cardiology opportunity at Essen Health Care, a leading healthcare provider in the region. Our team is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Specialist to join our General Adult Cardiology Practice.
Key Responsibilities
As a Physician Assistant in Cardiology, you will be responsible for evaluating patients for CAD, Angina, Hypertension, Dyslipidemia, and Arrhythmias. You will perform careful physical exams, order labs and diagnostics, and interpret Echo, Stress testing, and EKG results in office. Additionally, you will have access to a cath suite near the office.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's Degree, National certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, and a New Mexico State Medical License. You should have a career interest and focus on Cardiology, as well as strong technical skills allowing ease with patient visit documentation and notes. Experience with Cardiology diagnostics reading and comfort with Pharmacology of different hypertensive medications and lipid medications are also required.
