Residency Program for Registered Nurses

Cleveland Clinic offers a comprehensive residency program for registered nurses, designed to support new graduates in their transition to a new position. Our program provides a supportive environment for nurses to build their skills and confidence, working alongside experienced nurses who are eager to educate and coach new graduates.

As a Registered Nurse Resident, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and inclusive environment, where you will be encouraged to grow and develop as a caregiver. Our residency program includes:

As a Registered Nurse in our Medical Unit, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, working alongside a coach to establish and revise priorities for patient care activities. You will also respond to data indicating risk to individual's health and initiate action to correct, reduce, or prevent the risk.

Requirements for this position include:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in a medical-surgical setting is preferred
