Key Responsibilities and Performance Evaluation Criteria
Perform routine quality assurance work requiring limited exercise of judgment, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
Additional Accountabilities
Assist experienced quality engineers in specific tasks, applying standard practices and techniques to recognize discrepancies and follow detailed processes.
Supervisors and experienced quality engineers will review assignments for unusual problems and select techniques for non-routine work, providing close guidance on new aspects.
Document work, prepare technical notes, and maintain accurate quality records, adhering to customer and company requirements.
Ensure smooth production flow through quality inspection departments, meeting customer and company schedules.
Adhere to O'Fallon Casting's code of conduct, safety, and quality principles.
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
Degree in an engineering curriculum and 0-1 year of applicable experience, or 5-8 years of investment casting industry experience.
Knowledge and demonstrated ability in engineering principles, conducting and analyzing experiments, and preparing technical reports.
Good organizational and communicative skills.
Computer literacy.
