Job Description

Quality Inspectors are responsible for product quality control through the execution of incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection. They identify and evaluate products for conformance, following defined inspection plans and procedures, ensuring all products are properly identified, and record observations, measurements, and results of inspection. Quality Inspectors are trained to use inspection tools and equipment, assist in internal audits and safety audits, and ensure all paperwork and records are complete.

Responsibilities

• Execute incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product quality.
• Identify and evaluate products for conformance according to defined inspection plans and procedures.
• Ensure all products are properly identified and documented.
• Record observations, measurements, and results of inspections accurately.
• Use inspection tools and equipment proficiently.
• Assist in internal audits and safety audits.
• Ensure all paperwork and records are complete and accurate.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of quality inspection experience.
• Experience reading inspection plans, blueprints, and instructions.
• Proficiency with measurement and inspection tools such as gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of quality control and quality assurance processes.
• Experience with quality checks and production processes.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled, with a team of 15 people in the shop.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of O Fallon, Missouri.
