About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at Circle of Care Pediatrics.

As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services to patients of all ages with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
  • Implement therapy plans developed by the licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Document patient progress in therapy and communicate with the licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Provide feedback to the licensed Speech Language Pathologist regarding patient performance.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders or a related field.
  • Licensure or certification by the state of Texas as an SLPA.
  • One year of supervised work experience preferred.
