Job Summary

Denver Health is seeking a highly motivated Speech Therapist - NICU (PRN/ Intermittent) to join our team. As a key member of our Speech Pathology department, you will provide goal-directed Speech and Language Pathology evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify speech, language, or cognitive disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Speech-Language Pathology, preferably in a NICU setting.
  • SLP-Speech Language Pathologist licensure in the state of Colorado.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
