We are in search of a skilled and committed Field Superintendent to manage the structural steel erection operations at our construction sites. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily functions of steel erection teams, ensuring that tasks are performed safely, punctually, and according to specifications.
- Implement and uphold rigorous safety protocols and standards, conducting frequent site inspections and safety briefings.
- Verify that the structural steel is installed precisely and adheres to all engineering and design requirements.
- Act as the main liaison between project management, clients, and subcontractors, ensuring effective and clear communication.
- Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly, making informed decisions to keep the project progressing smoothly.
- Maintain comprehensive records of work progress, safety incidents, and any modifications to project plans or timelines.
- Manage the scheduling and allocation of labor, equipment, and materials necessary for steel erection.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in structural steel erection, with a solid history in a supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of structural steel fabrication, erection methods, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions and at elevated heights.
- Capable of lifting and transporting heavy materials as required.
